Lefkada grape

Originally from the Greek island of Lefkada, cultivated in Cyprus for decades.

Deep red colour, strong characteristic aroma and a somewhat astringent palate from its partly hard tannins. A good blender.

Long-established on the island, though not Cypriot in origin.
